Major Piero Santini
Piero Santini was a devoted student of Caprilli and an author.
Piero Santini, a Major in the Italian Light Horse Cavalry, was a disciple of Caprilli. He continued and advanced Caprilli’s methods throughout the early to mid 20th century. Santini, with an Italian father and American mother, spoke and wrote English as a second language. He is the author of 5 books the first being Riding Reflections, published in 1932 in the United States.
